Glider MKIII
The Glider MKIII is based on the Vox Tone Bender® Mark III from 1968.
** These are made to order. Will ship within 2-4 weeks.
** This pedal uses vintage style PNP germanium transistors which are powered by negative voltage, thus the power supply must be an isolated source, such as a 9v battery or 9v power adapter from an isolated source. The power supply cannot be daisy chained with other pedals.

Details:
Although originally released in ‘68, the Vox MKIII is most famous for its prominence in the shoegaze scene on the late 80’s and early 90’s. Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine uses it regularly.
I tune mine to replicate the tones from the original units. With tight and cutting attack and flowing sustain. The Glider has three usable controls for Volume, Fuzz, and tone. I set mine to go well above unity gain, a wide reaching Fuzz control, and a tone control that can go from a fat and warm woolly fuzz to ear piercingly bright and nasty and everything in between.
The Glider MKIII is a incredibly user friendly and versatile fuzz great for anyone who wants a one-stop-shoppe kinda thing.
** Please note I am in no way affiliated with Sola Sound or Vox. I am using their trademarked names as a mere reference to the circuit that the Glider MKIII is based on. For more information about the originators of these wonderful pedals, Please visit Macari's Website
