Limited Edition AOX ‘66 w/ SFT337 & OC76

$950.00
sold out

A part for part clone of one of the earliest known examples of a Vox Tone Bender (V828) with an added internal output cap switch for both vintage correct cap options. (Think of it as a bass boost switch)

Includes:

  • 1960s Mullard Tropical Fish input cap mounted under the board like the original

  • 1960s Ducati brown output cap found in the original example

  • 1960s red Facon electrolytic cap found in the original

  • 1960s Italian resistors found in the original

  • 1960s SFT337 germanium transistor same as original

  • Ultra rare 1960s OC76 in a TO-1 casing like the original

  • Wired up in a vintage replica PCB

  • Handmade replica board mount

  • Unbranded UK wire

  • Hand painted vintage replica enclosure

  • Hand made cable tie to match the original

  • Carling footswitch

  • Switchcraft jacks

I wired up this one to have the input on the right to be more compatible with most other pedals.

This one is tuned up to be raspy and spitty with crystal clear cleanup. The OC76 adds a tasteful bite to the fuzz that the more common SFT363E doesn’t have.

This is a must have fuzz for any player or collector. A truly one of a kind fuzz.

This is the only one exactly like this I will ever make given the rarity of all these parts.
